The 2013 NACCHO Annual Conference will take place in Dallas on July 10–12 at the Omni Dallas Hotel. The theme is “Public Health by the Numbers. Our Story. Our Time. Our Future.” Explore the story of public health and the future of the professionals who work every day to promote the health and safety of all people. The conference is a unique opportunity to share your experiences and network with colleagues. About NACCHO Annual

NACCHO Annual is the largest gathering of local governmental public health officials in the United States. During the conference session presenters share practical information, lessons learned, and resources to prepare attendees for a more effective role in shaping the future of local public health through disease prevention intervention, wellness promotion, elimination of health inequities among individuals and communities, and expanded leadership capacity within local health.

General sessions are complemented by interactive sharing sessions, a public health research track that examines public health practice-based research findings; networking sessions; a public health informatics track; over poster presentations; and an exciting exhibit hall.
