NACCHO's advisory groups are crucial to the association's work and are an important vehicle for member input. The committees, teams, and workgroups were recently restructured to better align with both NACCHO's strategic plan and staff organization as well as to increase member involvement in committee activities. 2008 Advisory Group Appointments: Call for Participants Now Closed
Thank you for your interest in serving on a NACCHO advisory group. The 2008 call for participants formally closed on Friday, May 24. As in the past, there was a strong response with over 150 applications submitted. Each year the NACCHO President-Elect and Vice President determine advisory group appointments. This year, those officers are Gary Cox of Tulsa, OK (President-Elect) and Bruce Dart of Lincoln, NE (Vice President). Applicants will be notified in writing of their status in late July.
Orientation Materials for Current and New Advisory Group Members
NACCHO holds annual orientation calls for new and existing advisory group members. These calls provide an overview of the association's work, the purpose and function of the advisory groups and an opportunity for new members to ask questions.
