Advisory Group Orientation

This three part PowerPoint presentation is recorded by NACCHO staff to give you a more in-depth understanding about both NACCHO and our advisory groups. Each part lasts about 10-minutes and covers a number of documents from the orientation packet, available below in greater detail. Part One: Member will be given an overview of NACCHO's history, NACCHO's vision, mission, core values and NACCHO's strategic map and how it applies to their work.

Part Two: Members will learn about their expectations and responsibilities as members, chairs and liaisons, the expectations and responsibilities of NACCHO lead staff, and about external representatives.

Part Three:Members will learn about policy development, 2010 legislative agenda, resources NACCHO has to offer and the new My NACCHO website for advisory groups.

NACCHO recently unveiled a new website where all advisory groups members can collaborate on  work.  NACCHO provided several training's on the new tool in October.  If you were unable to attend the training's or simply need a refresher, please download and view the materials below.
