NACCHO's policy development process establishes policy and guides NACCHO's public health advocacy.

NACCHO's policies on public issues are determined by the Board of Directors. The Board has established a policy development process in which the NACCHO committees and forums participate actively. Individual members are also invited to submit policy statements to be considered by the relevant committee and the Board of Directors.
