Build Cache Files

This utility creates page cache files for selected browser types and sites. This is especially useful when running ColdFusion MX. Use this utility to refresh page content, verify page integrity, and reduce page load times.

Access this dialog from Site Administration. Expand Utilities, click Site Toolsand choose Build Cache Files.

Select a subsite from the Subsite dropdown, or click the folder icon. Optionally include child subsites. By default, this utility does not rebuild existing cache files. Check Force Rebuild to ensure that all previously cached content is refreshed. Select the appropriate browser types, and click Run Utility to build cache files for those types or Cancel to exit without running the utility.
