Closing General Session

The closing general session, which takes place in Ballroom A/B in about an hour, will begin with opening remarks from NACCHO President Lillian Shirley and ASTHO President John M. Auerbach. A panel of key Senate and Congressional representatives will provide attendees with important perspectives from their regions and districts: Richard Blumenthal, United States Senator for Connecticut; Rosa L. DeLauro, Congresswoman for the Third District of Connecticut; and John Larson, Congressman for the First District of Connecticut.
