Walter currently is the Director, Office of Health Equity for Hillsborough County Health Department. Prior, he was the Program Manager for STEPS. He has been with the Hillsborough County Health Dept. since 2004.
Walter is a regular speaker on health issues, including speaking to the Florida Dept. of Health on minority health; and to the University of South Florida College of Medicine on obesity management.
