Louise Square is responsible for the management of contracts awarded to Community Coalitions for Diabetes Prevention, and the Type 2 Prevention of Diabetes in Children contracts in the metropolitan regional area including NYC. Ms. Square also represents the New York State Diabetes Prevention and Control Program on the Hispanic/Latino workgroup for CDC. Louise is the current Chair for the National Association of Chronic Disease Directors Health Equity Council and is the lead for the Social Determinants of Health subcommittee. This year marks her 22st year in the field of Public Health. Ms. Square?s experience includes her work with the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene?s Tuberculosis Control Program, New York State Health Department?s Immunization Program and her current position with the Diabetes Prevention and Control Program.
