Accreditation Readiness
NACCHO provides tools, resources, training, technical assistance, and peer learning opportunities to local health departments to assist in their preparation for accreditation, performance, and quality improvement efforts.
Local health departments (LHDs) have different technical assistance needs based on their level of accreditation readiness. While some are just beginning to learn about the Public Health Accreditation Board's (PHAB's) national, voluntary accreditation program, others may be ready to apply, while others are already accredited and seeking reaccreditation.

Already accredited? Click here to learn more about preparing for reaccreditation.
Accreditation coordinators from local health departments that have applied to PHAB are invited to join NACCHO’s Accreditation Coordinators Learning Community. This group provides a space for accreditation coordinators to network with peers, share effective practices and lessons learned, and participate in a virtual community.
