Livingston County, Michigan Essential Personnel Prophylaxis Plan

Keywords / Description:

The purpose of the Essential Personnel Vaccination/Prophylaxis (EPP) Plan is to provide for the prophylaxis of Livingston County essential personnel and/or first responders and their immediate family members, prior to the general public in the event of an emergency.  This will enable these essential personnel to perform their functions safely and efficiently, knowing that their immediate family members are also protected from the threat at hand.  This plan can be adapted and used by other health departments seeking to develop a plan that fully explains the need to dispense vaccines and prophylaxis among first responders before the emergency response plan can be most effective.
