Description:

"ICS In Action" is a 2.5 hour, self-paced group or individual activity that reviews basic Incident Command System (ICS) for Public Health staff and uses a communicable disease outbreak investigation scenario to apply ICS in a core Public Health situation--epidemiologic investigation.  This training applies to local health agency staff and "epi teams," or epidemiologic respose teams, in any size health agency, but may be particularly useful to small local health agencies.  The training is video- and workbook-based and is available on DVD or for download at the NC CPHP website:
