• Web 2.0 definitions, traits, and benefits;

• How these technologies improve the work of non-profit and/or public sector organizations both in terms of outreach/publicity as well as in regards to original knowledge creation; and,

• Why NACCHO's objectives require adoption of some Web 2.0 technologies.

In addition, we'll highlight the work of a few peer/similar organizations like the CDC and LHDs who have used web technology to successfully conduct outreach, provide ongoing member support, and create research.
