LINKS (Lifecourse Interventions to Nurture Kids Successfully) is a database of out-of-school time programs to promote healthy development throughout the lifecourse. Local Health Departments can identify user-friendly summaries of programs that promote health and development from infancy through college age. Each summary includes:
1. An overview of the program.
2. A description of the program.
3. Evaluations of the program.
4. Sources for more references.
Depending upon the information made available, users can also link directly to the program materials they are interested in from the LINKS summary.
Policy makers, program providers, and funders are also encouraged to use this resource to support children as they grow to become healthy adolescents and adults.
