The Journal of Infectious Diseases published this ten page article in July 2010 that outlines a study to describe the prevalence of Hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection in the U.S. from 1999-2006. The study reveals that HBV prevalence in children has decreased, but has remained steady for adults during this period.
