Return to Toolbox Main.
The Oklahoma Infant Alliance provides resources to support the health and development of late preterm infants and raise awareness about the importance of full-term pregnancies. The newly released "Clinical Practice Guidelines" serve as a resource for healthcare providers and families to support their understanding of the unique clinical and developmental needs facing late preterm babies (those born between 34 and 37 weeks). Issues addressed in these guidelines include apnea, jaundice, sepsis, hypoglycemia, parent/infant attachment and developmental support. A free sample of the toolkit is available online. If users are interested, they can contact firstname.lastname@example.org for a complete copy of the toolkit.
