Dietary Salt and Sodium

Description:

The Oklahoma Cooperative Extension Service, in conjunction with Oklahoma State University, has created a two page fact sheet that defines dietary salt, outlines sodium functions, details sodium's relation to other health conditions, and lists sodium sources.  Suggestions for lowering salt at restaurants and healthy choices to lower sodium are also included.
