Adolescent Immunization Toolkit

The Michigan Department of Community Health (MDCH) has compiled an Adolescent Immunization Toolkit with links to resources for immunization providers in Michigan. MDCH follows recommendations made by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP). Sections in the toolkit include: Immunization Schedules, Storage and Handling, Vaccine Administration, Vaccine Safety/Patient Education, School Immunization Rules, Vaccines for Children (VFC) Program Information, American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), Michigan Care Improvement Registry (MCIR), Adolescent Immunization Data, and Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS). The toolkit can be found at www.michigan.gov/teenvaccines under "Health Care Personnel."
