The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) is pleased to announce Aprende a vivir, a free, online videonovela to help Spanish-speakers with type 2 diabetes self-manage their illness by adhering to medical instructions on taking their medicine and following dietary and exercise advice.

Health facilities and staff, including promotores de salud, may also request free copies of the Aprende a vivir DVD. To link to the episodes or ordering DVDs, please contact jessica.reed@ahrq.hhs.gov.
