Local Boards of Health and Environemental Health Policy: Land-Use Planning

NALBOH created a factsheet on how boards of health may be able to encourage the use of healthy community design and land-use planning to improve the health of their communities and empower people to make healthier choices. This factsheet may be able to help local jurisdictions implement Health in All Policies by informing them of the policies, policy tools, and resources on how to incorporate health considerations into land use planning.
