Healthy Corner Stores 101: What Works?

Description:

Over the past decade, a growing number of advocates have begun partnering with corner store owners in low-income urban and rural communities to improve the availability and marketing of healthy, affordable foods. The goal of this webinar is to provide a brief introduction to the corner store movement. Christine Fry, Senior Policy Analyst at ChangeLab Solutions, moderated the discussion where speakers explored the successes and challenges of healthy corner store conversions, with a particular focus on strategies for financing this work.
