This resource, developed by the Needham and Wellesley Health Departments in conjunction with the Harvard Center for Public Health Preparedness, is based upon the CDC-funded document "Bioterrorism and Emergency Readiness Competencies for all Public Health Workers." It is a questionnaire designed to help local public health department staff members conduct a self-assessment to evaluate the perception individual members have of the relevance of each competency to their positions, as well as their ability to fulfill each one.
This resource can be used to find knowledge gaps among health agency staff in order to better target training efforts.
