East Texas Community Health Needs Assessment

In 2007, the Texas Department of State Health Services released its report summarizing the East Texas Community Health Needs Assessment. The needs assessment includes results from 1,924 individual surveys, as well as outcomes from community forums which were attended by a total of 470 individuals.  Surveys and forums led to the identification of concrete health priorities and plans to meet community member needs in East Texas.
