CanVis along with coastline visualization, and more importantly for public health departments, includes links to the social vulnerability index (SOVI) and Spatial Trends in Coastal Socioeconomics (STICS) for census data on populations living on the coast in the Approaches Social Science section of the tool. For public health departments with coastline, this can provide a way to gather existing data on populations that will be impacted by sea level rise.
