||When vaccine was in short supply we were concerned we would need to turn people away at clinics.
|Actions taken to address the issue(s):
||a web-based registration system for persons to register to apply for a dose of vaccine. From the information collected an email was sent with an appointment time and the type of vaccine the child was to receive, ie flumist or injection. Persons without internet access could call the a designated number for a nurse to call them back with a scheduled appointment.
|Outcomes that resulted from actions taken:
||Clinic flowed very smooth with minimal wait times. Returning calls was very time consuming and would not recommend using this method.
