The Terrorism Injuries Information, Dissemination and Exchange (TIIDE) Project was established through a cooperative agreement in response to the urgent, ongoing need to develop, disseminate and exchange information about injuries from terrorism. Through the TIIDE Project, NACCHO, in cooperation with CDC’s National Center for Injury Prevention and Control (NCIPC), seeks to (1) showcase models for planning and agreement between emergency care and public health; (2) develop and share evidence-based tools and resources related to terrorist bombings and mass casualty events with LHDs and other public health partners; and (3) enhance partnerships between public health and emergency medical care.
