TIIDE

NACCHO, in cooperation with CDC's National Center for Injury Prevention and Control, developed The Injuries Information, Dissemination and Exchange (TIIDE) Project to:

  • Showcase models for planning and agreement between emergency care and public health;
  • Develop and share evidence-based tools and resources related to terrorist bombings and mass casualty events; and
  • Enhance partnerships between public health and emergency medical care.
Demonstration Site Overview

NACCHO will provide funding for two local health departments to identify model strategies, guidelines, and resources for coordinating efforts between local public health and emergency medical care workers during a mass casualty event or terrorist bombing. The results generated from these two health departments will be shared on this site.
