Plain Talk Program

Concern for America's at-risk, sexually active youth prompted the Annie E. Casey Foundation (AECF) to develop Plain Talk/Hablando Claro – an evidence-based program with a unique approach to the prevention of teen pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases.  Through support from the foundation, NACCHO conducted activities designed to raise the awareness of local health departments around Plain Talk/Hablando Claro, with the goal of assisting local health departments in improving their Teen Pregnancy Prevention and HIV/STD prevention programs.
