NACCHO's Webinar Series

NACCHO offers a monthly Infectious Disease and Immunization Webinar series on the fourth Wednesday of every month. The webinar is a web interface where participants can hear local health department experiences on various immunization and infectious disease topics.  Many of the webinars also feature a representative from the Centers for Disease Control giving a national overview of the specific topic. The webinars are designed to provide a national overview of the topic at hand and a collaborative forum for local health departments to learn from each other and share lessons learned. Past topics have included: ACIP recommendations on influenza vaccination, Hepatitis B vaccine initiatives and Measles. The archived webinars can be accessed below.

In addition, NACCHO hosted a webinar to show local health departments how to get involved in Vote & Vax, a joint initiative of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the New England-based nonprofit agency SPARC (Sickness Prevention Achieved through Regional Collaboration). Vote & Vax is an initiative that works with local public health providers to assist them in launching vaccination clinics at polling places across the country.
