Bi-State Communications to Partners and Stakeholders |

Rock Island County began publishing an H1N1 update to key community partners and stakeholders in May 2009. Planning and education activities being completed by public health were related along with general information on the H1N1 outbreak. Over the summer we had meetings with our public health partners in Scott County (Iowa) and decided to publish a joint H1N1 update with information for the entire Quad City Area. These bi-state joint updates began in September 2009 and continued through February 2010. A sample is attached.
Partners and Stakeholders were very glad to get these and commended us on this practice of getting information out in our area. We also had many interested individuals add their name to the email database as we went along. |
