Local Tobacco Prevention and Control Program Database The Local Tobacco Prevention and Control Program Database is a compilation of tobacco prevention and control programs collected from local health departments. The information housed in the database may not reflect the current programmatic activities of local health departments, but it provides examples of activities that other agencies can use.
The database complements NACCHO's Program and Funding Guidelines for Comprehensive Local Tobacco Control Programs. The guidelines help local health departments and their community partners structure efforts around the seven components of a local, comprehensive tobacco control program recommended by NACCHO and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Then, select the state or program component of interest, and the database will produce a list of programs, providing the components each program addresses, contact information, an overview, and lessons learned.
