Become a Project Public Health Ready National Reviewer Volunteer to review Project Public Health Ready (PPHR) applications and assess whether they meet the PPHR Criteria to be prepared for emergencies. Benefits include:
Qualifications: Reviewers must have a strong understanding of public health preparedness and response. Local health department personnel will be given preference, but qualified candidates from state health departments and other organizations will also be considered. No specific job position is required. Ideal candidates include public health preparedness planners and responders, training and exercise coordinators, and epidemiologists. NACCHO seeks reviewers from a diversity of professional backgrounds and geographic locations. Time Commitment: The time commitment is approximately 50 hours over a three month period. Reviewers must also attend a 1.5 day in-person review meeting. NACCHO covers appropriate travel, accommodations, and meals for this meeting.
