
NACCHO is committed to assisting local health departments (LHDs) in their preparedness efforts. The goal of this project is to ensure that NACCHO’s public health preparedness programs and policies meet the needs of local public health and integrate effectively with the work being done at the state and federal levels, and that these programs and policies are a resource to LHDs across the nation by strengthening their ability to efficiently and effectively respond to public health emergencies.
