2011–2012 Capacity Building Awards Announcement

The Capacity Building Award (CBS) program is for MRC units to develop unit capacity and community resiliency through projects and trainings within their community.

E-mail notifications regarding awards were distributed during December 20–23, 2011 from mrc@naccho.org. If you have not received your notification, please check you spam filter. When e-mailing with questions, include the name and number of your MRC Unit and state for reference.

If your unit was awarded the 2011–2012 CBA:
If you require specific contract language changes, you must submit the changes in writing to mrc@naccho.org by February 1, 2012. Contract extensions will not be granted.

You MUST return the two signed original contracts including the Certification of Nondebarment to the National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO) by March 30, 2012. If you have questions, refer to the e-mail instructions provided with the contracts.

You should receive a countersigned contract and a check by mail approximately 45 days from the date NACCHO received your signed contract.

The 2011–2012 CBA application period opened on August 8, 2011 and closed on
September 15, 2011 at 5 PM, EDT.

Please note: Funding for the CBAs is contingent upon funding from the federal government.

If you have questions on how to fill out the CBA Budget Form, please read the Guidance on Completing the 2011–2012 CBA Budget Form. This year, the CBA Budget Form will be provided to applicants for a uniform review.

»	NACCHO Recommendation Form
	The NACCHO Recommendation Form will replace the Letters of Support. This allows for a more uniform review of these supporting documents. To download the form, click here.
