Peer Assistance Network

NACCHO organized the PACE EH Peer Assistance Network (PAN) to provide a venue for the exchange of advice and support among peers who are involved in a community-based environmental health assessment process. The PACE EH PAN enables communities to benchmark their own practices against those of their peers and adopt effective approaches that best meet their needs. Previous users with various levels of expertise will be available to guide communities with PACE EH.

Peer advisors are listed according to specialization to help organizations easily connect with an advisor to answer their questions. Areas of specialization include to the following:

  • Capacity building
  • Marketing/working with the media
  • Team development
  • Facilitation skills
  • Collaboration methods
  • Program planning
  • Fundraising/grant writing.

PACE EH peer advisors participate on a voluntary basis, and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Organizations requesting assistance that requires travel will be responsible for negotiating travel arrangements or travel reimbursement.
