 Through a grant from the

 American Water Works

Association Research Foundation,     NACCHO has partnered with George

Washington University (GWU) and the

Association of Occupational and Environmental Health Clinics (AOEC) to provide a framework for developing partnerships between water utilities, LHDs, and medical communities. This two year effort, which began in March, is designed to deepen knowledge about the key element for successful communication collaborations. This project will assist water utilities, LHDs, and the medical community to pool resources to effectively address emergent threats to drinking water supplies by providing a framework that outlines the necessary components of an effective communication strategy.
