Using New Technology for HIV/STI Prevention

NACCHO is currently collecting a list of local health department MySpace Web pages, cell phone interventions, and other health promotion programs using new technology to reach adolescents. If your local health department carries out activities of this nature, please let us know by e-mailing Cara Biddlecom at cbiddlecom@naccho.org.

In addition to developing a list of local health department prevention efforts involving new technology, NACCHO will collect resources that local health departments can use to develop their own prevention programs using new technology and social networking sites. Click on the links below to access articles related to the use of the Internet and cell phones for the delivery of HIV/STI prevention messages.
