MAPP and NPHPSP Trainings

NACCHO staff provides MAPP trainings for through a variety of venues. The following is a list of the trainings offered. See the Calendar of Events for a list of upcoming trainings. APHA Pre-Conference MAPP Training Since 2006, MAPP trainings have been offered at APHA's Annual Conference. These one-day trainings include information on theory, practical tips and tools, dialogue skills for facilitating the process, and general guidance for each phase. Participants' packets include PowerPoint presentations, a MAPP Handbook, field guide, and case studies. Annual NPHPSP Training The NPHPSP partnership coordinates a national training for using the local, state, and governance instruments of the NPHPSP. These trainings teach participants to:

State-Wide Training State health departments or State Associations of County and City Health Officials (SACCHOs) can request training for MAPP and/or the NPHPSP to be held in their state. NACCHO will provide the content, materials, and presenters at no charge to the hosting state. The hosting organization will need to arrange the meeting logistics. These trainings are tailored to the particular needs of the state. Past trainings have included:
