|
NACCHO staff provide MAPP trainings in a variety of venues. The following is a list of the training opportunities offered. See the MAPP calendar of events for a list of upcoming trainings. MAPP TrainingAre you interested in improving your community's health? Are you looking for practical ways to engage community partners? Join us at the next annual Mobilizing for Action through Planning and Partnerships (MAPP) training to learn how to take action steps toward a healthier community. MAPP is a community-owned strategic planning process informed by comprehensive assessments for improving the public's health. MAPP is a framework that helps communities prioritize public health issues, identify resources for addressing them, and take action. As a MAPP training participant, you will learn the nuts and bolts of the MAPP process, hear stories from the field from MAPP users, and gain concrete skills for engaging community organizations, partners, and community members in your MAPP process.
Below are some comments from previous MAPP training participants: "The breakout sessions were excellent - I really appreciated the opportunity to 'experience' the MAPP framework ..." "Training staff well informed and sincere about helping us." "... great handouts, visuals, take away resources. Thanks!" Questions? Contact MAPP staff at mapp@naccho.org.
