MAPP Website: Questions and Answers
|
Questions Do these questions not address your concerns? Do you have additional questions? Contact MAPP staff at mapp@naccho.org, and they will either work with you directly, or connect you with a MAPP Mentor. To begin, you can read the over view of MAPP on the Home page, the MAPP Basics will provide you with more details about the background and some of the supporting publications. The MAPP process itself is laid out into 6 distinct phases. These phase can be found at the top of each page on the website, right under the title Mobilizing for Action through Planning and Partnerships. Click on a phase (e.g. Organizing for Success) to get an overview of that phase, as well as in-depth guidance. Throughout much of the website, there is a right-hand navigation bar that provides Resources and Peer Assistance links. Where applicable, these resources are divided by phase so when you are in one phase of the MAPP process you can link directly to resources that are relevant to that phase. No matter where you are in the website, you can link back to the MAPP home page by clicking on the title Mobilizing for Action through Planning and Partnerships. When there is no right-hand navigation bar, scroll down to the bottom of the page an it will take you back to where you came from. If you have any questions, contact MAPP Staff. The second option is the in-depth guidance. This provides you with the details of how to implement each phase. But don't stop there. Using the right navigation bar, check out the Clearinghouse of Resources for tools, tip sheets, worksheets, and examples to further assist you with implementing each phase. You can also click on Stories from the Field to read about how other MAPP users implemented that phase. For a hard copy of the in-depth guidance for all 6 phases, plus a few of the tools, download or order the MAPP Handbook.
