Accreditation and QI, West Virginia

In 2000, the West Virginia Performance Improvement Committee—a subgroup of the West Virginia Bureau for Public Health Transitions Project—met to determine how to move forward with quality improvement and accreditation in the state.

The goal of the West Virginia accreditation program is to "develop and implement a process to provide and measure accountability, quality, and continued improvement of West Virginia's public health system."
