Project Overview: The Northern Kentucky Independent District Health Department (NKIDHD) serves four counties in Northern Kentucky and serves a population of more than 370,000. NKIDHD developed a database that included approval for training and out-of-state travel, which combined and eliminated two paper forms by utilizing one online process. As a result, the new database is easier to use and requires less time than the previous approval process.
