A number of states have programs that address performance improvement, certification, or accreditation for local health departments. In an effort to increase knowledge sharing and examples of best practices, NACCHO designed an interactive map that allows users to click on states and view current case examples, initiatives and activities.

Click on the states in blue to view available information for that state, including how they use the Operational Definition.
