Local vector control programs in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Texas are invited to attend one of two Vector Control Workshops in January 2019:
- January 8–9: Charleston, South Carolina
- January 15–16: Montgomery, Alabama
The workshops will increase the capacity of local vector control programs in areas affected by Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Marie to respond to the increased threat of vector-borne diseases following these natural disasters.
Choose the workshop most convenient for you. Both offer the same hands-on training, tailored instruction, and capacity-building activities for vector control programs in hurricane-affected regions.
Each workshop is capped at 50 participants, so space is limited. Register today to secure your spot.
Travel awards are available, and the travel scholarship application deadline is extended to Wednesday, December 14, 2018.
