Marking the 20th Anniversary of the Public Health Emergency Preparedness Program

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Public Health Emergency Preparedness (PHEP) program—a critical source of funding for state, local, and territorial public health departments that helps to build and strengthen their abilities to effectively respond to a range of public health threats.

NACCHO asked local leaders to share the impact of the PHEP program in their communities and to talk about the future of the program. Below are their reflections.
