For the first time ever, NACCHO will be broadcasting live from the 2017 Preparedness Summit, known as the premier conference for public health preparedness, taking place next week from April 25-28 in Atlanta. This year’s Preparedness Summit will focus on the “Forces of Change: Capabilities, Innovation and Partnerships,” engaging attendees to explore factors driving change in our world; their impact on the future of public health preparedness; and how to generate action for a stronger and more resilient nation. Live online webcasts will include the three main plenary sessions featuring renowned experts in biodefense, national health security, and technological innovation who will set the tone and spearhead conversation throughout the entire conference. NACCHO’s Preparedness Team staff also handpicked key conference events including education sessions, town halls, and workshops, which will be recorded and made available online shortly after the conference concludes.
