MRC Summit 600

Applications Open: 2025 MRC Leadership Workshop

Oct 08, 2024 | Beth Hess

On April 28 in San Antonio, TX, MRC unit leaders and state coordinators will come together for the 2025 MRC Leadership Workshop. Applications are now being accepted to take part.

The 2025 Leadership Workshop is intended to provide in-depth training to equip unit leaders with best practices and valuable lessons learned in the recovery process. This workshop allows unit leaders to connect with colleagues, share resources, and enhance unit capabilities. Additionally, the interactive session aims to strengthen connections among MRC leaders and program partners while empowering MRC units to effectively meet their mission requirements.

To support the MRC Network and unit leaders, NACCHO, through a cooperative agreement with the Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response and the Office of the Medical Reserve Corps, is offering funding (Travel Awards) for approximately 150 eligible MRC unit leaders or state coordinators to attend the MRC Leadership Workshop on April 28 AND the Preparedness Summit from April 29 to May 2, 2025. Applicants that do not require a Travel Award should also apply as space is limited.

The application deadline is November 15. Priority will be given to new unit leaders and those that were unable to attend the 2024 MRC National Summit. NACCHO will also factor in equitable distribution of units across the 10 regions and jurisdiction types.
