Call for Members: Join NACCHO’s HIV, STI, and Viral Hepatitis Sentinel Network!

Jan 07, 2020 | Kat Kelley

NACCHO is recruiting local health departments to participate in its HIV, STI, and Viral Hepatitis Sentinel Network (Sentinel Network). The Sentinel Network is an important mechanism for gathering the local health department perspective so that NACCHO can fulfill its mission to be a leader, partner, catalyst, and voice for local health departments.

The Sentinel Network is comprised of more than 100 local health departments from over 40 states and the District of Columbia. Sentinel Network members complete brief surveys on an approximately quarterly basis on their HIV, STI, and hepatitis programs, including their activities and services, partnerships, needs, challenges, and successes. After each survey, NACCHO hosts virtual meetings to share and discuss the findings and facilitate peer learning and engagement among Sentinel Network members. Survey results may be shared publicly or with key partners and stakeholders, in which case data is only reported in aggregate, without identifying specific health departments.

Learn more about the Sentinel Network and sign up here. If you have any questions about the Sentinel Network, please email Kat Kelley, Program Analyst, HIV, STI, & Viral Hepatitis at [email protected] or call 202-507-4223.
