Call for Participants: Refreshing the Healthcare and Public Health Sector Specific Plan

Jul 16, 2019 | Kim Rodgers

The current Healthcare and Public Health (HPH) Sector policy and operational guidance document is set to expire at the end of 2019. The Joint Councils Leadership is currently seeking volunteers to inform the core content of a refreshed Sector Specific Plan (SSP) through a task group beginning in July 2019. Volunteers should have one or more years’ experience being active or engaged in HPH Sector activities. The writing team will provide approximately two drafts to the advisory body during July and August for online edits, and group members will be invited to attend an estimated 2-3 one-hour teleconferences.

The SSP is used for developing metrics to measure progress in enhancing security and resilience of HPH critical infrastructure; creation of products and tools that support the Sector’s operations and response capabilities; and, providing common language and best practices for coordination and other activities at a national level.

Those interested in participating should email [email protected].
