The CDC Division of State and Local Readiness (DSLR) is currently looking for state and local health department presenters for an upcoming Second Wednesday Webinar in the month of December. Presenters are needed to discuss promising practices for the following topic:
- Full-Scale Exercise Planning: CDC is looking for State and Local Health Departments to share promising practices and lessons learned for planning and executing Full Scale Exercises as part of their Public Health Emergency Preparedness (PHEP) Cooperative Agreement 5-year funding requirements. In particular CDC is interested for States and Locals to share strategies used for capturing all Medical Countermeasure (MCM) distribution and/or dispensing performance measures as part of a single exercise.
If your health department has developed promising practices, protocols, resources, tools, or strategies around full-scale exercises that would be of value to share with other state and local, please consider this opportunity to share your work as a presenter. Selected presenters will be expected to develop presentations that last between 15-20 minutes. If you are interested in presenting, please contact Raymond Puerini ([email protected]) by Friday, October 23 and include a brief description of your promising practice, resource, or strategy.
