Do you work with other jurisdictions to achieve understanding of and conformance with the Voluntary National Retail Food Regulatory Program Standards (Retail Program Standards)?
The Retail Food Safety Regulatory Association Collaborative (Collaborative), a partnership effort between the Association of Food and Drug Officials, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Conference for Food Protection, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), National Association of County and City Health Officials, and the National Environmental Health Association, is looking to identify state, local, tribal, and territorial programs that participate in a network focused on discussing, sharing, and working together to increase understanding and conformance with the Standards. The goal is to better understand how participation in a network may help jurisdictions achieve conformance with the Retail Program Standards to inform Collaborative recommendations for best practices and policies that will be shared widely with jurisdictions across the United States.
A network can be:
- Multiple jurisdictions (three or more) that convene (virtually and/or in-person) regularly (e.g., semi-annually, quarterly, monthly) to discuss, share, and work together to increase their understanding and conformance of the Retail Program Standards.
- Primarily focused on the Retail Program Standards.
- Administered by local jurisdictions, states, or FDA Retail Specialists.
If your jurisdiction is participating in a network, please consider emailing [email protected] with the name of your jurisdiction and the contact information of your network administrator.
